All new clients at Ayimaa begin their journey with a consultation. It's the first and most important step in creating your personalised skin plan.
During your consultation, we'll assess your skin, review your medical history and current skincare routine, discuss your concerns and goals, and build a treatment plan tailored specifically to you. Depending on your individual needs, your plan may include professional skincare, in-clinic treatments and, where clinically appropriate, prescription-only skincare.
If you haven't visited Ayimaa in over 12 months, you'll need to book either a Skin Consultation or Consultation + Treatment before undergoing any procedures. This allows us to reassess your skin, ensure it's appropriately prepared and recommend the most suitable approach based on your current skin health and goals.
Our consultations are designed to give you clarity and confidence. Rather than expecting you to know which treatment to book, we'll guide you towards the options that are most appropriate for your skin.
Consultation fees are redeemable against treatments booked within 30 days.
Appointments are available in person or virtually for your convenience—simply note your preference in the Booking Notes when making your appointment.

The Skin Review
The Skin Review is designed exclusively for existing Ayimaa clients who would like to review their progress, refine their treatment plan, or explore the next steps in their skin journey.
As your skin changes, so should your treatment plan. During your appointment, we'll reassess your skin, review your current skincare routine and progress, discuss any new concerns, and ensure your plan continues to support your long-term goals.
Where clinically appropriate, your Skin Review may also include discussion of prescription-only skincare or progression to more advanced treatments as part of your personalised care plan.
Whether you're considering your next course of treatment, looking to optimise your skincare routine, or simply want to check you're on the right track, this appointment provides the opportunity to review your progress with your clinician.

Facial Assessment
Our Facial Assessment is designed for clients who would like a professional assessment of facial movement, lines and overall facial balance.
During your appointment, we'll discuss your concerns and goals, review your medical history, assess your facial anatomy and movement, and recommend the most appropriate treatment options based on your individual needs.
Recommendations are always personalised and may include skincare, in-clinic treatments or, where clinically appropriate, prescription-only treatment following a prescribing assessment.
As an Independent Nurse Prescriber, Nurse Nicola carries out all prescribing assessments in clinic. If a prescription-only treatment is considered appropriate, this will be discussed with you during your consultation and managed in accordance with current prescribing requirements.
All Facial Assessments must be carried out in person. This ensures a safe and comprehensive clinical assessment can be performed before any prescribing decisions are made.
